Get out of Debt!
August 2019, we paid off $304,000 in debt and became debt free except for our mortgage. We must have been high-rollers, right? No... I was a stay at home mom and hubby an enlisted sailor in the US Navy. This took us a painful 5 years of intense focus. Yes, it included 2 nice cars and a massive home addition as well as lots of other home-improvement debt. It sure adds up, doesn't it?
