Pantry Challenge, Organization & Menu Plan Monday

Day One!  I printed out my 'No Waste' menu planner as discussed yesterday.  A couple trips to the pantry and freezer and I was able to fill it out.  As you can see I squeezed in 2 more days, making it a 9 day week, getting us through the end of this month.  A little thinking and thumbing through Pinterest and I came up with our plan!  I will only need 3 things at the grocery store this week: cat litter, a jar of pasta sauce and some celery!  Thats a WIN!

My first 'creative' meal was for the kiddos, some whole wheat leftover spaghetti and I whipped up a peanut sauce and threw in some grated carrots.  It was heavenly!!!!  They ate it all.

We were also lucky enough to get to pick some *FREE* strawberries at my moms house on our Fathers Day visit yesterday...  I will do my best to have these berries last TWO entire days!  We don't have any berries in our garden yet as I struggle to keep the thing alive, an early harvest is just not going to happen with little ones around....  :)  yummy!

Day one was a success!  I also threw some ingredients in the bread maker to do an interesting version on a yeast banana bread!  Fingers crossed it turns out okay- its supposed to be our breakfast!

Total Spent: 0 dollars
