Workout Wednesday: how I made time for 2 workouts

Its workout Wednesday and somehow I managed to squeeze in TWO workouts today.  That is pretty much a first for me!

But how???



How on earth did I manage not one but TWO workouts today?  By being prepared!  I knew I might get the opportunity so I dressed accordingly when I woke up...  workout gear, sports bra and layers!  My big smart wool socks under my sneakers were a sure way to keep my feet warm given the chance to run outside.

i promise the outfit was much cuter than it appears...  i topped these baggy, hip pants with a couple snug fitting running tops and a puffy vest.  Completed the whole look with a warm hat that was both stylish and suitable for the cold!

I had about 20 minutes to spare mid-morning while my youngest was in an appointment so I took advantage and went for a really quick jog out in the cold.  Well, it was 'just' a jog but a hard one!  I worked up quite a sweat and picked her up panting and sweaty :)

This afternoon I still made time for my quick 30 minute Beachbody workout like normal.  My little girl is used to keeping herself entertained with something for that short half hour while I get my exercise-on in the kitchen.  Today I brought out a stack of puzzles for her to do on the carpet while I worked out behind her.  She loves being in the same room and I accommodate!  Its a win-win!

Taking advantage of time, wearing cute workout gear from the beginning of the day and choosing time friendly methods I am able to do this!  No need to 'get ready' to go for a run, or grab the right things for the gym and/or take the time to drive somewhere....  when I have my moment I simply just DO IT!
